Focus on Content

When ThatTheatreSite.com was conceived, our focus was to fill a hole we saw in the information available online for free about non-musical plays. When researching or auditioning for a show, any descriptions, character information, licensing, reviews, and other information was scattered in many different websites, and often just not able to be found at all. After founding this site, we expanded our focus to tackle audition announcements and many other facets of theatre. That expanded focus expanded the potential areas of interest at the cost of our focus on adding character and other information on as many non-musical plays as possible. While ThatTheatreSite.com is still committed to becoming a one-stop site for all facets of theatre information, we are returning for the time being to our original goal: to become the first, best place to look when you want to start to learn about a non-musical play, its characters, reviews, licensing, related sites, etc. We will continue to expand our offerings slowly in other areas, but at this time, our focus is to significantly enhance our overall database of show content. We believe we are already the largest single collection of this information on the web, but we also know we have many hundreds if not thousands more shows we want to add, and our focus on that will continue for the near future. You may continue to submit other material such as audition notices, but our primary interest will be supplementing our play database with all of these show details.
