Character Gender Role Size Min Age Max Age Description
Norman Thayer M Lead 55 80 His health is good with a touch of arthritis and palpitations. Flirting with senility but he knows it and plays it to the hilt.
Ethel Thayer F Lead 50 75 Norman's Wife. Small and energetic. She's the opposite of Norman in many ways. She fills the empty spaces when he grows quiet.
Charlie Martin M Supporting 35 50 A big round man. Weather beaten face, smiling eyes, strong Maine accent. A laugher but not "deficient". In his own rustic simple way he is charming.
Chelsea Thayer Wayne F Supporting 35 45 Daughter of Norman and Ethel. Quite pretty. Maybe a bit heavy, athletic looking, tan, a nervous type, something dark about her but she has her father's humor.
Billy Ray M Supporting 12 16 Short, flippant, but only to cover his awkwardness. He is eager and bright. His hair is long. His posture terrible.
Bill Ray M Supporting 35 50 Beau to Chelsea, father to Billy. Tends to be serious but has a good sense of humor when he remembers to use it.
